Our Saugerties-based crews carry the parts and the know-how to get your air moving again today. Same-day appointments available across Saugerties and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Saugerties and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We'd rather lose a job to a lower bid than win one by cutting corners on the diagnosis, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Saugerties is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Saugerties homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Saugerties's housing stock.
Whether it's a mid-summer breakdown or a planned system replacement, our Saugerties techs handle it with the same level of care.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Saugerties dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Saugerties homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Saugerties homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Saugerties, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
We understand that a commercial call isn't just about comfort, it's about keeping a business open.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle indoor air quality upgrades for homes with allergy or asthma concerns for Saugerties households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Saugerties get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
If anything feels off after we leave, one call gets a tech back to your Saugerties address.
A little attention to how your system is running can save you a lot of money and discomfort.
Ignoring new noises is one of the fastest ways to turn a small repair into a major one.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
Parts and labor are backed by warranty terms explained in plain language.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
You make the final call — we just make sure you have the full picture.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone."
"We've used them for our maintenance plan for two years now and never had a surprise breakdown. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Explained the sizing calculation so I understood why they weren't just installing the same unit again. Would recommend to anyone in Saugerties needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"Our restaurant's rooftop unit went down on a Friday night and they had someone out fast. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Would use them again without hesitation."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. This is the company I'm saving in my phone now."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Saugerties's seasonal swings.
Saugerties's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Before the heaviest cooling months hit, it's worth having the refrigerant charge checked, the condenser coils cleaned, and the filter replaced — all of which directly affect how hard the compressor has to work.
Keeping vents unblocked by furniture and rugs helps maintain even airflow throughout the home. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.

More involved repairs, like a coil replacement or a refrigerant leak repair, take longer and the tech will give you a realistic estimate before starting.
Let dispatch know ahead of time if access will be handled differently than a standard homeowner visit.
From the older, established streets near the center of Saugerties to the newer developments on the outskirts, our trucks cover the full footprint of the city.
We also work regularly with homeowners associations, property management companies, and multi-unit buildings throughout Saugerties.
A full system replacement is one of the bigger home expenses most people face, and we don't expect everyone to pay it in a single lump sum. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Saugerties installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
